Fiberon's
unique design offers many benefits:
Strength & Durability - With Fiberon, splitting, warping, and
cupping is a thing of the past.
Water & Slip Resistance - Great for beach and lakeside homes,
Fiberon Decking resists the wettest conditions without warping or
rotting. And, its textured wood surface is more slip resistant when
wet.
Easy Installation - Fiberon works like wood -with conventional wood
working tools. Use small head ring or spiral shank stainless steel
nails or screws for best results.
Environmentally Safe - Made with premium recycled wood and without
toxic or harmful wood preservatives, Fiberon is friendly to the
environment.
Fiberon
solid decking is made from a mixture of premium recycled wood,
predominantly oak from manufacturers of furniture, millwork or
cabinets, and a combination of virgin plastic and recycled plastic
for stronger performance.
High-strength materials make each board lightweight, yet durable and
more rigid than other composite decking. It can be used for any
purpose, but is not designed for use as columns, beams, joists,
stringers and other primary load-bearing members.
Fiberon
Decking comes in pewter gray or cedar. Its surface is embossed with
a natural oak grain. Fiberon's color tones may vary slightly upon
installation. In a short time these color tones lighten to a
beautiful, consistent, traditional wood look and will stay so for
years to come.
Fiberon decking feels like wood underfoot, but will not splinter,
warp, rot, crack, cup, giving it a beauty that outlasts wood decks.
Its surface is slip resistant when wet. Although you can stain or
paint with oil-based products, it is not necessary, just as it is
not necessary to seal Fiberon decking.
Fiberon decking is easy to install, using no special tools or
hardware. Whether you are cutting, nailing, drilling or routing,
traditional woodworking tools will do the job.
Fiberon decking is backed by a
10-year limited warranty. |
